Joshua MehiganJoshua Mehiganís first book, The Optimist (Ohio Univ. Press, 2004), was one of five finalists for a 2005 Los Angeles Times Book Prize and winner of the Hollis Summers Poetry Prize. His poems have appeared in many periodicals, including The New Republic, The New York Times, Ploughshares, and Poetry. Mehigan is the recipient of a 2011 NEA Fellowship.
